Sr. Rosario Salemo, campus minister and organizer of the Mobilization for Survival (MFS) Coalition teach-in, on November 20, 1977. MFS was a national coalition composed of many different organizations working toward common goals. The four stated goals of MFS are these: no nuclear weapons; ban nuclear power; stop the arms race; and fund human needs. It was a continuation of the anti-war movements of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
